From your profile, you can access the village interface and some related information. You can join an existing village, receive an invitation from friends to join their village, or create your own peaceful haven. The village creator becomes the mayor and can appoint deputies to help run the village.
Creating a village requires a name, emblem, description, and language, but most importantly, it requires 2000 gems, so it’s crucial to think carefully and ensure it’s a worthwhile investment. A village can have a maximum of 20 members, making it interesting to form alliances with players from your faction and other servers to enjoy various advantages. To join a village, you can join open clans on your server or receive an invitation from a friend in another village or server.
Reunions
The reunion feature is the most surprising and interesting addition to villages. It allows a player in Bag End to join a season that has already begun, if invited by a village member. However, the implementation of this feature is well-thought-out with logical conditions and a cooldown to prevent abuse.
To join a current season, the invited player must meet the following criteria:
• The campaign is not full.
• The neighboring faction is not full.
• The season started between 7 and 28 days ago.
• The inviting player must also construct a temporary camp where the invited player will be repositioned.
Additionally, a player can only join a season that has already started once every 180 days, preventing players from joining campaigns towards the end just to quickly earn end-of-season rewards. However, a player within a campaign can invite another villager to their season once every 30 days, limiting it to one invitation per season.
This feature comes in handy if your friend finishes their season after your recording period and still wants to join you afterward.
Relocation Assistance
The second significant addition is the relocation assistance, which applies to players from your server and faction. This feature allows you to invite a player from your village to relocate to your own temporary camp. While it may not revolutionize the game, it can be useful if you have good relations with your village members.

Relocation assistance can save time on long journeys and prevent losing aptitude points due to lengthy marches. With the recent update of contribution medals and the clan shop, camps are no longer as precious.
Village Customization
The village is a place of conviviality where each player can find their place. In addition to various discussion channels, including an announcement channel, the village offers a high level of customization.
You can choose and modify the village’s emblem and name every 180 days. Once the village reaches 10 members or more, you can even design your own 20x20 emblem. Keep in mind that these two modifications cost 1000 gems. However, you can freely modify the description, language, tags, and entry settings.
Furthermore, you can customize the titles you unlock gradually by logging in daily, using the village as a role-playing space or just for fun with these titles.
Rise To War FR
I created my village, Rise To War FR, shortly after the update, aiming to create a friendly and helpful space. It brings together French-speaking players from various clans, some of whom have been teammates for multiple seasons to enjoy the village’s features.
